Negotiation for the Intelligence Professional SeminarThis one-day seminar is based on established principles of negotiation and mediation, giving operational Intelligence officers the tools needed to satisfy conditions and requirements in varied environments.
This seminar is oriented toward operations in which English is commonly spoken and in which cross-cultural communications are of minimal consideration. This program is especially useful for Intelligence professionals who need to negotiate operational outcomes under varying conditions and requirements. The seminar can be coupled with other technical skills courses for less operationally experienced officers.
Among other skills, students learn to develop and fit a negotiation strategy to their counterpart; how to use information to establish and support a negotiating strategy; how to become competent and flexible in basic negotiation styles; and how to effectively identify and use power in its various forms.
