Intelligence Support to InterrogationsThis 2-day course examines the Collector-Analyst Process (CAP) which identifies specific roles, responsibilities, and tasks of support members in a fixed or mobile setting.

Because HUMINT is now the intelligence weapon of choice against insurgent and terrorist operations, this course provides instruction on the
environment of Asymmetric Warfare and the development of 4th Generation Warfare, and how to
identify the areas of collection and analysis of a threat beyond the Commander’s requirements. Students
review Operational Analysis in order to recommend further HUMINT and other military operations, such as
targeting, cross–cueing other intelligence platforms, and surveillance.
HUMINT is being revamped and re-accepted into mainstream intelligence. Part of the revamping process means that the traditional model is changing. Rather
than including analysts after intelligence has been gathered, HUMINT collectors are now working directly with analysts to provide on-the-spot intelligence
support.
